New Patients

New patients are always welcome and the referral of family and friends is always appreciated.

During your first visit at Triadent Dental, you will be introduced to our organized approach to patient care. We want to know what is important to you, so feel free to talk to us about your healthy smile concerns. The disclosure of your personal information is made easy in our private and comfortable setting. We are a family-friendly clinic and offer appointments at off-hours, should they be required.

The Triadent Dental Difference

Unlike a typical quick check dental visit you may be accustomed to, your initial comprehensive examination lasts at least one hour.

Our dental assistant will spend some time with you to review your dental and medical history before the doctor begins the examination. The exam is very thorough and will include checking your jaw joints for any abnormalities, an oral cancer check, and will also include checking your tissues for evidence of periodontal disease. We also conduct dental imaging, take you on a photo tour of your mouth and conclude with a private consultation. Here we share all of our findings with you, discuss your options if treatment is required, review fees and help with your insurance and organize any needed treatment in stages and in order of priority.

What To Expect At Your First Appointment

Prior to starting any restorative treatment, hygiene is always recommended as it provides a sound foundation on which to restore. Dr. Gaudet will prescribe just the necessary radiographs needed to complete and develop your treatment plan and indicate the necessary time required for your first hygiene appointment. Radiographs can be requested from your previous dentist as long as they are fairly recent (within one year preferably).

Please be sure to bring a list of any current medications you are using (you can obtain this list from your Pharmacy), including anything over the counter. Patients seldom understand the link between medications they may be taking and their dental conditions.

What are the costs of the oral exam and a full series of dental x-rays?

The fee for the comprehensive examination, including periodontal examination, oral cancer check, and treatment planning is a maximum of $140.00. A full series of x-rays is also a maximum of $140.00. This initial investment in your overall treatment will enable the entire dental team to advise and provide the best treatment for you long term.

The type of appointment just described is not covered through our social service agencies. They cover emergency or very basic treatment only, so please let us know which type of coverage you have.

Convenient Payment Methods

For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard and Debit as methods of payment. Bring along any insurance information to your first visit including policy number and certificate number. We will submit your claim for you.
